Scuttle and wipers off as per http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=111517.0

So theres no alignment marks or stuff like that?..  just curious incase there maybe a " you must not do this" or " ensure you do that" kinda thing..

Evening guys... could someone please find me the "how to" link on replacing the front wiper motor? Just the motor is being changed not the arms/links ...

Take clear pics before you remove the arms from the motor to be sure to reconnect them correctly ;)

your wipers will park ....... but not necessarily at the bottom  ;) ;)

They will do some interesting damage as they attempt to sweep past the scuttle. If they get that far.




If just replacing the motor, all you need to undo is the yellow nut for the linkage, and the three red bolts for the motor:





That photo also gives a pretty good idea how the linkage needs to be clocked to the motor.


While you have the wiper assembly off the car it is definitely worth giving the balljoints a squirt of lubricant

All done and fitted.. bit of a faff but got there in the end... however... ive gone and lost ine of the wiper nuts so still cant blummin drive it 😦
