Today's WIM Vist and Sunday's Meet
« on: 23 July 2008, 19:55:20 »

Once again I was at WIM today.  Great service as ever and since my last visit two months ago it's changed a bit, particularly in the reception area.

This morning I had the pleasure of watching Jeremy Kyle on a 50" wall mounted plasma whilst sitting on a comfortable chair.  There were also some car mags to peruse and a funky coffee machine that looked very technical   :y

I've now got the geometry setup spot-on thanks to the new recon track rod ends and wishbones.  The old wishbones had a serious amount of play in them but at least the steering idler arm and droplinks were fine.

Now the car drives straight and true, all thanks to WIM, who are now sporting their WIM/Blackboots polo shirts - very professional.

I won't be at the meet on Sunday, but Tony assured me it was on and he just needed to liaise with TheBoy.

Almost forgot to mention.  I was the first geometry job of the day.

The second was a bloke from the Lexus club who had driven from Liverpool that morning  :o

Going to have to get some new boots on the rears soon... might get Tony and Co to give it all another check while it's there.
