Best avoided, as Chromebooks really are, well, shite.  If you *MUST* have one, get a reputable brand, which rules out Acer.

A Windows i3 based laptop should easily come in at around £300 for a branded model, and just for EMD, all versions of Windows desktop have come with free, lifetime AV for years.

i own an acer for the last 5 yrs bar for increacing the ram ive had no problems the batteries are shite though :D :D :D :D
