Glove box Replacement question
« on: 04 November 2020, 05:06:51 »

Hi all
had some scrote get into my Omega a while ago and forced open the glove box.  The lid/door itself is damaged where it locks at either end after being forced open.  Can just the lid/door be replaced or does the glove box come as one complete assembly.  TIA       Al :y

The lid and glove box do seperate - the lid was available I believe in beige, black or grey so it shouldn't be difficult to seperate once removed from the car. Here's the guide...

I don't think it would be too difficult to source a good used glove box and lid complete in your colour, as long as the handle is intact and still works as originally intended.....

Yes the lid can be replaced by itself, but the whole glovebox needs to be removed from the dash in order to do it.

And if you cant get one the right colour, you can swap the innards over easily enough :)
