Hmmmm....   the official verdict by SWMBO on my 3.0 Elite is a mere "it's alright , i suppose.......  "

but then she spent about 16-7 years in Senators.....  I had my first one in 1984 , and only parted with the last one in 2001.....

towards the end of that period we got the Sintra.....   which scored highly....  by virtue of having 7 "proper" seats... and being a shed load nicer, more comfortable and reliable, and faster, than the Pug 505Gti estate 7 seater we had previously...  (we have 5 kids.... so we have to keep at least 1      7 seater on hand for family outings....    )

BUT she wouldn't initially happily drive it....  as it was too big.......   she liked travelling in it... and even remarked about how crap the Zafira was in comparison....   particularly noticing it's lack of poise in cornering and under braking....

but that's the 7 seater....   it's not a replacement for the Sennies ... although, despite being driven on the wrong set of wheels...(what moron decided FWD and a V6 was a good idea without traction control?)  it's as close to having a senator MPV as we could get......    solid and stable and pretty quick with that 24V 3.0 V6 in it....

what feature on  my omega elite got the most positive reactions from both Wife and Daughters??

The talking factory fitted Sat Nav.

(Our later sennies had pretty much all the bells and whistles the meega has apart from that... so not really much wow factor for the rest of it...... )

The teenage daughters especially went a bit loopy over it.....  "daddy daddy, it talks to you.... it TALKS to you.....   "  in the same kind of excited tone of voice as that used for when you just bought them a pony!  and were pointedly told no... they were not learning to drive in MY car.....

;)
