Next doors dog was seriously ill after one of their guests fed him very rich sherry truffles I had made them one Christmas.

My daughter has a chihuahua (sp) .... basically a tennis ball on legs with golf ballls for eyes  ::)

He stole an easter egg once (foil and all) ... luckily only one of those tiny ones .... but that was a trip to the vets and a few scary days and several fits.

He's a cute little sod tho !!!!!

Chocolate can be poisonous to dogs Daz!.....How much did the little eggy-thief eat?

Debs

I have always wondered this, it just be breed concerned.  My two labs eat absolutely anything.  It amazes me what they can eat and still be here (I do not mean that nastily).  My chocolate lab (excuse the pun) will eat plastic, tins you name it, the bastsartd will eat it :-?

Our dog is a lab, its a long story but we found the chocolate thing out from the vet after our lab started to fit.

I must be extremely lucky then - they are just dustbins literally ( go done the rather thing when your not looking)  and chocolate does not bother them :o

You are on about your dog eating anything..........
My mum used to have Rough Collies (like Lassie). Mum had the chicken Defrosting one night the next day it had gone ::) the dog was walking like John Wayne for a day or two after though ;D
If socks were on the radiator drying, for some reason there would be odd socks. A day or two later they would be in the garden a strange colour  ;D

reminds me of our jack russel doing it's business in the garden, moaning like hell coz there was a dish cloth hanging out of her arse ;D ;D ;D
