yep..for a short time this came to my mind but even a new mobo with  better cooling frames and temperature range would be a cheaper solution..

have tried some expensive cooling systems years ago when overclocking was my favorite..

Are you able to monitor your CPU's speed?  I have 2 monitors on both cores and 90% of the time they only run at 50% (1.4 Ghz),and very rarely do they both go to max. (2.7Ghz).  Maybe you have the power save feature turned off ?

Edie you are right, power save feature turned off.. I hate lazy pcs  ;D :y
