i'm watching the clip now, do you know who David Koch is? He's president of Koch Industries, the largest privately owned company in the USA with major oil and gas holdings.

He is the second richest man in New York.

He the founder of the sinister-sounding Americans For Prosperity (AFP)

AFP are our hosts for this interview 

now, i'm not saying Koch is a bad man (he's a great philanthropist)
and i'm not saying there's anything wrong with AFP - they just happen to be a right-leaning libertarian organisation - fine

but i just wish we could have an open discussion without it being funded and promoted by vested interests - when that happens i'll listen 

 until then - i'll give the scientific evidence more weight 

No one but free marketeers will fund the realists' cause. I know you're left-leaning, but does everything have to be reduced to a nice left/horrid right argument in your book?

saves a lot of time in the long run 

nah, seriosly it isn't black and white - i just wish we had a neutral voice - i just don't buy all the green arguments, nor do i buy all the climate change conspirists arguments

but posting a puff piece with no journalistic merit does neither argument any good - completely pointless

puff piece - you know - it's a friendly environment to launch your book/film/cd whatever 

you're post isn't pointless - but the interview wasn't exactly paxo on newsnight territory was it?- not very rigorous
