Wifey is off this week and wants to go to Chester Zoo. I've not been for over 30 years so was wondering, is there much to do for two oldies ::)

Might be OK for you and the missus Pete, but my mate said that when he took his wife and three kids he spent £90, and that was him being his usual tight self.

The last time I went to Chester zoo I had one hell of a laugh. A family of chavs were pointing and laughing at a bunch of chips that were sat on a fallen bough of a tree. One chip took exeption to this climbed down off the tree and promptly grabbed a large handful of chimp sh1t and threw is (very accurately) at the offending family, covering them in foul smelling doo doo  ;D

Yeah, good day out - went there with daughter, son in law and Grandson in August. The baby Giraffe was only a week old then and had only been on view to the public for two days. If its a nice day deffo take a picnic as some nice places to sit and eat and avoid paying high price for crap food in the cafes as mentioned by the other posters!!
