......
Is I.Q. a realistic indicator of intelligence....or is it too simplistic?. ........Any ideas?. :y :y

A Navy instructor would always comment on the university graduates that often went straight into the mob as an officer .....
they could work out the square root of a banana but could peel & eat one!  ::)  :y  :y  :y

Shouldn't that be couldn't peel and eat one. I wouldn't post on this thread any more Andy ;)

Just testing ..... & you spotted the deliberate mistake .......  :y

Perhaps good old fashioned common sense ....is often overlooked.....
some people with a high I.Q ......do not necessarily have a lot of common sense. :y :y :y

Yeah, but there's quite a lot of them out there that have a low IQ and no common sense.

At least you have a small chance of persuading the high IQ people around to your point of view (i.e. the correct way).

Thank you Optimist, "Grey and wrinkly cells" maybe  ;D

I would hazard that the majority of OOFers are far more talented than I in many ways. :y

Just for fun....

and post you're results ;) :y

1. Sally likes 225 but not 224; she likes 900 but not 800; she likes 144 but not 145. Which does she like?
I don't even understand the 1st question!  :-?  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D
All the numbers Sally likes are squares

Obvious when it's pointed out!!  :-[
I'll go & hide in a corner for the rest of the day!!!  ;D

Actually its not just that. All the digits in each number she likes add up to 9 and therefore are in the 9x table.

I was a failure at school. :'(

The next number she liked was 1600, with the alternative being 1700.....neither of which come to 9 in any kind of mathematical equation  ;)
