'Bit' is right. I think community service would have been a better alternative. She would be the first MP to serve the community in a long while. ;D

In view of Tuesday's abortive uprising in the New Labour ranks, I consider this to be the most anticlimactic topic title since the recent "Got is back" classic. >:( >:( >:(

she would probably claim the £90 back in expenses, especially if the incident happened during a work trip!

stitch up and a whitewash. She was seen by witnesses to be talking on her mobile while driving and drove into another car. She claimed she had done nothing wrong and would deny any charges if they were brought. If she had been convicted of talking on the phone while driving she would have had to resign as it was she who introduced the law in the first place.
A deal has obviously been done behind closed doors imo,it stinks. One law for us etc...... >:( >:(
