I had the utter misfortune to have to sit at my desk ( invoicing ) within earshot of the TV for the nausiating duration of the three soaps tonight whilst my dear , but worryingly sad wife , watched with alarming interest at the on going drama in soap world.
I found the whole debacle so miserably depressing finding it unbelievable that scriptwriters should consider immediate post teatime viewing a suitable time for storylines revolving around death,murder,theft, manipulation ,truancy,deciet,malice and a hundred more unsavoury subjects.
And why oh why do the whole bloody cast of Shitenders have to [size=20]SHOUT[/size] at each other in every scene.
Jaysus , that surely cannot be considered entertainment ...............................
It's many years since I paid even a passing interest in soaps but after tonights agony I'll proactivly avoid any further torture.

Interesting point.  But nearly 50 years of corrie and 25 years of EE then it has to be considered they have got/done something tight.

Crossroads, and quite a lot of other soaaps have come and gone, a lot of programs are not being renewed for finance reasons, yet we pay for TV licences and get RIPPED off by Sky and Cable companies for nothing but repeats  Yet all channels apart from the BBC are subsidised by longer and longer advert intervals.

So rather than compalin about what you dont wanna watch then please point me in the direction of a forum that supports complaints about improvong the channels, at least with the soaps it's different sory lines that are ongoing, and the totty levels are getting better each year.
