I'm under strict instructions from Mrs Sethsmate to take things very easy following my operation earlier in the week.

Dinner'll be ready soon - roast pork with apple stuffing, roast spuds and carrots, peas, swede, and cauliflower - but small portions, you understand!
I could actually get quite used to this recuperation lark .......

Oh, and Markseth & wife are supposed to be coming over later to check on my progress too.
So, apart from some post-op discomfort, there's no complaints here!

Got in from work at about 07:30... Quick check on here then into bed for a few hours kip.

SWMBO brought me Brekkie in bed at about 11, then we went to the pub, where I managed to squeeze 3 4 pints in before dragged home so she could finish the Roast Duck :y :y

I wish....

Over the weekend

Stripped the car down,
replaced side airbag
resealed passenger cam cover
swapped a knackered HT lead
swapped a coil pack
all cos I developed a nasty misfire Friday afternoon  :(

Stuff with the kids / family etc

Busy Busy Busy

I`m feeling a bit sad and lonesome today....... :'(

.....`going to cheer myself up with some constructive metalwork; making up some metal "saw-horses" out of angle-iron salvaged from an ancient field gate. ;)

Here`s the first 'iron-horsey' which I made yesterday:

Here's one i made earlier!!!! :-* :y

Absolutely pouring down today - managed to fit and test my new Bosch Aero-thingy wipers before going to Waitrose early to miss the crowds, everyone has the same idea, it's packed  :-?

After dinner still raining so decided to spend the afternoon plundering my record collection...they had some good tunes in the 70's, they just don't write 'em like that anymore...

Lark Rise and Dave Dimbly history lesson and so to bed  ;)
