seems to be a feeling that the players are terrified of capello, terrified of making a mistake, and being too uptight - what's worked for capello in the past, and what's made him one of the most successful club managers in the world is a strict regime where players are ruled by the "iron general" as he's called by the italians and it seemed to work all through qualifying where the players are with him for a couple of days at a time only. now they've had this regime for a solid 6 weeks - players are maybe beginning to hate the constraints and being treated like school kids on a trip with the headmaster? no mobiles, no wags, no drink, no fun and lights out at 11pm....these are highly successful, talented, grown men being told who they can and can't see and when to go to bed?:-?

then again, Steve "mate of the players" McLaren didn't work out either, neither did Sven who was soft as putty with them  :o

No they are not. They are over paid professionals who failed to deliver. As for the players moaning about booing, If I had paid a fortune to go out there to watch the game I would have boo'ed. I felt that I had 2 hours stolen from my life. People say F1 is boring. The football was truly like watching paint dry!

It says something for the daft state of the country that we can't employ a Brit (or an English person preferably) to lead the team.

Rooney yet again no good along with everyone else. Still I blame Rob Green  ::)

We had another 45 minutes to score and didn't - so much for it being a team game in that respect.
had we scored another and gone on to win, I wonder whether the Rob green incident would be almost forgotten by now?

Can he read. If so he should of read Capellos instructions. Put ball in back of net.

Think thats too hard for him to process.

In the end all we had was 11 millionaires ruining a perfectly good lawn!

Now that's a bloody great quote! ;D ;D ;D

Exactly, they're all quick to jump on the keeper for making a mistake, but no one else played anywhere near good enough, and our 'super' captain was the one who gave Dempsy hours on the ball. Yes, no excuse for Greens' mistake even he admitted that, but was there an excuse for Gerrard not putting a foot in?
