Welcome at the meet
« on: 21 June 2010, 14:13:59 »

I,d like to thank all at the Lakes meet for such a warm welcome. Its quite a long time since I was made so much at home within so many strange faces. Not so strange anymore, now looking forward to the Newent meet. Can I give a special mention to Daz,or Darth Loo Nee,who helped my nerves along.Without his see you there PMs,and welcome on arrival,I could have easily turned and ran,and really missed out.Once again, thanks all :y :y

Like said we were all new at sometime but at least you came over and mixed  :y

If you come to Newent I will get you closer to where everyone congregates, I didn't realise the reason until you told me after, so sorry about that :(

As TB said...

TBH, SWMBO didn't really want to go to the first one we went to but she loves them now... She's just as disappointed as I am that we couldn't make the Lakes

Glad you enjoyed it Cliffo. As LD said we were all new once. I remember the first Lakesmeet @ Area 51 about 4 years ago. I turned up not having met anyone & Mike Dundee helped me put my tent up. I was made very welcome as first meet folk have been since..being the shy retiring type i am.. this helped!! ::)
