they've taken the prices off.... im not a legal eagle but i did contract law at college; so off the top of my head:

their price on the net is the offer price ; you pay... that is your acceptance of the offer..... therefore a contract is created; technically (esp if you were in the states) you could have them fulfill or give equal replacements but in the real world they could just say someone hacked their site so the price on the net was not their offer.... so no contract; they refund you and say sorry.... end of.

would be good if 54 alloys turned up at your door!

There was a similar upcock on, I think, the Curry's website last year where widescreen TV's were for sale at £0.99 or similar.  I ordered 4 (not being too greedy) and got an e-mail two days later referring me to the small print on the website with the magic letters E & O E - Errors and Ommissions Excepted - which negated their requirement to supply at the quoted price......

Hope it turns out good for you all though!!   :y

Yes, the wriggle out clause.

I used this against British Gas once. They sent me an estimated bill for £183. I didn't pay. They sent me a reminder, I didn't pay. They sent me a final demand, I didn't pay. They then threatened to take me to court at which point I reminded them that I was self employed and would be claiming all costs for loss of earnings if they did as I would defend this successfully. It was an estimated bill. Which means they guessed. They guessed or estimated that I owed them £183. I guessed or estimated that I owed them F**K all.

They read the meter about a week later and it turned out they were indeed wrong. I actually owed them £214. :(

I made them wait for the final demand though - just because I could.

this is why I made my brother do it and not me, no loss for me, and no more than £4 loss for my brother!

I very much doubt they'll arrive, but as said, always sellable!
