Been trying to think of a comment. Words fail me.

I suppose I can only draw comfort from the fact that, unlike the poor chap described, I'm unlikely to find myself playhing with a daft electric scooter anywhere near a cliff. Especially if it's software controlled. ::)

A few years ago, some of the Traffic Police in the centre of Lisbon were using them.  Don't think they were fitted with blue lights, so they I presume they weren't being used as pursuit vehicles. :)

has anyone had a go on one of these.
I had a shot on one in Great Yarmouth whilst on holiday and there great fun.
it works by using the body i.e. lean forward it goes forward.
it has a top speed of 20mph.
Maybe the guy dropped a tenner and was chasing it ;D
