have you ever thought that within 75 miles of Manchester, you could have a strong dialect which could be Brummie, scouse, Welsh, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Potteries, Derby - all completely different.

I've got a lot of acquaintances and also a lot of friends... There are some people I've met through the internet (mostly here) who I class as friends. Even some people I've never met in person can become friends, depending on the relationship that is built.

However... Real friends, IMHO, are people you can not speak to for months at a time and still ring up/pop in and chew the fat with no concerns about awkwardness. Also people you can count on to go out of their way to help you out of a fix, no matter what time of day or night :y

And there are people I have met through this forum I would call real friends :y :y
You're my friend simply because Mrs LD does lovely cakes

There's a surprise... TB is thinking with his stomach again ;D ;D ;D

Speaking of cakes... Dutch Apple Cake for pudding tonight :y :y :y
You are no longer my friend.
;D ;D ;D :D :D :D

If it makes you feel any better I'll tell you it wasn't very good... But I'd be lying! ::) ::) :D :D
You are now one of my enemies, Mr LD  >:(
