doh!! wrong colour.
« on: 15 February 2011, 18:34:14 »

Well, I must say that these breakerline type people will flog you anything. I thought I was buying 2 rear doors for my old girl in champagne gold, or whatever the colour is. Give em the paint code and they send me silver ones!!! I must say that the doors are in good nick, even got the glass and motors in. Thought I was in for an easy swap over, grrrr >:(

I would demand an instant refund. them inform them that they have 7 days to remove the ubsolicited items from your property, or you will dispose of them by whichever means are most convenient to you. ;)

keep on track please, thread pruned.

keep it friendly and welcoming, the op has been trying to source these doors since his arrival on the forum.

VERY annoying when bought goods arnt as advertised.

whereas the forum cant help you sell these (although a refund is your best option anyway)  If you place a wanted ad in the test zone, Ill happily move it to parts wanted.

my problem is, the doors were delivered a couple of weeks ago and I was working away. I only got home yesterday and dont know how I would stand in getting a refund. Anyway, I,ll take up your offer on the test site and see if anyone wants them there. They are pre facelift doors off a saloon, CD at a guess, got the wooden trim in the door cards.

Welcome to the forum..... :y

My log book (age ::) ::)) says my car is silver, but is definitely more champagne in colour.... ::) ::)

If the doors are in good condition and otherwise right, you might be better off just getting them painted, may be cheaper and a lot less hassle in the long run.. :)
