But you're right, frustrating as it can be (for both admins and users - I've been on both sides of the fence, too) you just have to pick a set of rules and stick to them. Which is what the admin team do, as far as I can tell

Now we know a little more of what is going on, I can see why the admins are doing this ...... its just a shame the innocent are affected by this ruling but why should the admins have to put up with the constant grief froma small section of flyby nights out to make a quick buck from here.

To confirm, yet again, there is no issue whatsoever with andyc.  He is by all accounts, a well respected seller of parts for Omega and others in the VX range and considered by many to be one of the good guys.

Unfortunately or unlucky, the current guidelines and forum set up does not encompass the selling of things not directly Omega related.  That may well change with the next reincarnation of the forum and its software so, please, do not confuse the actions of a small minority and wrap it up into those who actively try to make OOF a better, more rounded place....

From a personal viewpoint, so would I. From a moderator viewpoint, we have to be seen to be fair to everyone, without exception.

For a few months we have had a plan, but cannot implement it until a couple of prerequisites happen first - one of which is rebuild the main OOF server, which needs a significant outage as I'm sure you can appreciate. The next prereq is a significant update to the software, again, needing a significant outage.
