I got the JVC Hm330 HD last year, taking it to California on my hols.
Fantastic buy but not as much a bargain as the one you listed.
The difference between standard and HD recordings are staggering.
For me one of the big plus's with the Everio's is the size. Small enough to store in a hip case, quick for removal and storage.
You WILL need to pay out quite a bit for a spare battery though but all in all I love it...
However ! HD recordings need a lot of storage space and although mine had 8gb on board it's no where near enough for holiday use and extra memory cards were needed.
Odds are, IF I was buying another one I think I'd buy one with a ton of memory already on board, 120gb minimum I would say.
It's not a huge problem, 32GB of memory cards were enough for 3 weeks to East Coast USA but 120GB would cover a lot longer time of course.
That said, once you have the film on a memory card, it's yours in it's original form for as long as you need it.
