Lakes - a few comments from the chef
« on: 12 June 2007, 11:39:08 »

Sorry I'm a bit late but haven't had much of a chance to get on the forum since I got back :-[

Anyway, what a fantastic weekend - thanks to everyone for making it so :y :y :y Also thanks for the nice comments about my BBQing, TBH I really quite enjoyed it - stick me in front of a BBQ with a plentiful supply of beer and I'm happy as a pig in sh*t!! :y ;D I guess it also makes up for me not being able to help out with anything mechanical as I'm really inept in that department :-[

Also gotta say thanks to TD for getting the new exhaust backbox on his TC card for me and to Mark DTM and Tunnie for having a go at putting it on only to find the mid section was bug*ered too!! Mark also diagnosed the "whine" I was getting from the rear which turned out to be the rear diff and not tyre noise as I thought. Mark has kindly offerd to check the ratio's and look out for a suitable replacement that he will fit for me - top man :y

I could go on thanking people but I think other threads have probably covered it all, and I can only add my thanks :y

I'll get some of my pics posted as soon as I can, but first day back at work today and it's a bit manic and have no time to sort them out.

Great to have met all the people that I haven't met before and great to see those I have - what a fantastic bunch you all are :y

Cheers, Bob
