Yep, picked the car up from the body shop early Saturdy morning and drove up to MDTM's in Nottingham. After packing Mrs MDTM and the kids off to the the mother-in Law for the night the "Omega Doctor" got staight to work on the cam cover gaskets and then it was off with the front cat sections of the exhaust to move the lambda sensors. What a bloody job drilling 1" holes through for the new sensor locations. Mark was using a 2HP bench drill and could not get through with the last couple of large drill bits. Ended up having to finish the holes with a file!! Got the old holes blocked off with steel bungs and eventually got the sensors screwed in to the new locations. Fired it up and then cleard the fault codes and no more EML light on.......wahoo! :y :y
Anyway, got finished around 7.30pm got showered and then headed in to Nottingham centre to see the "sights". Bloody hell talk about a lively city, the place was buzzing and lots of very scantily clad ladies everywhere. ::) ;) Mark was a great host and took me to some great bars and restaurant. Plenty of beers were had along with a few drams of Scottish fire water. ::) Couldn't get too hammered though as we both had to be up reasonably early and I had to drive back for a Christening.
Can't praise Mark highly enough for doing a fantastic professional job and for him and Alison for putting me up for the night. :y :y :y

Shame you couldn't join us James, could have got even more messy Saturday night. ::) Could have done with your help pushing your car in and out of Mark's drive! ::) ;D Mind you, Darth Bog Roll popped in briefly on his way back from Kings Lynn and gave us a hand pushing it back on the drive.
