colour code or not colour code...
« on: 14 January 2010, 18:05:49 »

..... I'm going to have to get my front bumper and nearside sill resprayed as I had a little accident in the snow today....Would it look stupid if I was to have the black area of the grille colour coded while the paint shop has the paint? had this done a couple of years ago on a Vectra and looked ok ( my opinion) but on the Omega? what do you guys think?

erm - it will inevitably chip off and will then look really rubbish - and when you come to sell it starts to ring alarm bells with potential buyers  :y

theres a place on the Brymau estates in saltney does em.

think its brymau 4, but never used them, was a recommendation from Saltney Tyres, so if you cant find it, they should be able to point it out.

I do car body repairs for a living, £50 for the alloy refurb sounds average, but make sure he matches the paint to the other three or it will look odd, let me know what you get quoted for bumper and sill repaint if you can, if you need any help or advise, let me know. Ray.
