Can I borrow a DBW V6 MAF please?
« on: 01 June 2010, 21:52:40 »

Is there anyone around Oxford way with a 2.6 or 3.2 V6 either auto or manual that they wouldn't mind me borrowing their MAF for a few minutes? Unfortunately the vehicle it's for isn't road legal so I won't be able to come to you. But I'll happily cover your petrol money, give you some extra...and we can go to the pub opposite for some lunch on me  :y

Unfortunately not, only got one Omega and that's the one with a suspected MAF issue.

If mine is proven to be at fault, I'll be buying a new one, you'd be more than wlecome to have my old broken one...if that's any good to you?

Worth taking that ELM cable as well. Connect it up and clear the fault codes before starting with the new MAF (that will also clear the block learning).

No joy as of yet Chris...but I don't want you going out of your way driving miles you don't need to. It's a very kind offer, but I'm sure I'll be able to find one :y

Sorry Josh, was hoping this trip would come off, and possibly a curry in Brackley after, alas, not to be.
