Replacing xenon bulbs??
« on: 11 August 2007, 15:12:36 »

How easy is it to replace the xenon bulb??

My nsf headlight has stopped working and the CHECK lights up approx 5-10s after turning on the lights.

I have bought a pair of new bulbs of ebay as the local shop wanted £150plus for one!!!! :o

I have seen the post on how to take out the headlight units but nothing about changing the actual bulb.

Is it as straight forward as changing a regular bulb?? :-/

Cheers Colin. :)

Easy enough

Yes. Left side takes about 20-30 minutes as you have to take the battery out.

Right Side takes about 15 minutes, 5 of which are trying to get the airbox back in properly.

Then another half an hour trying to remember where you put the carpass for the radio code. ;D

Hi all, thanks for all the advice, hopefully the bulbs will arrive on Monday so I'll crack on and have a go at swapping them. :y

Cheers Colin :)
