Rear wandering.
« on: 06 November 2007, 14:08:42 »

Since fitting a set of cheepies on the back 225 55 zr16  Accelera, car wanders terribly on bad road surfaces. On smooth is perfect steers & brakes straight. Is something worn at the back.Gives a feeling like a badly located live axle, but accel/decell does not cause problem.
Cheepies on front too 225 55  16 Wanli.
Please don't suggest v expensive tyre as I do c 28k pa.

I had that (tramlining) when I first bought the car.
All very low tread, goodyears and others.

Replaced with 4 new tyres (yes premium) and problem gone  :y
I Used Continental Sport Contact 2, £370 for 4 so not cheap sorry
