Battery
« on: 07 February 2008, 14:56:47 »

Hello I am at work and have not got chance to seach for this could someone tell me the procedure for disconntecting the battery on the car without setting the power sounder off I have looked through the handbook and  I have found no reference to it . I know THE BOY mentioned something about having to do something with the key in the ignition and a time that you have to disconnect . I ned to take the battery off and stick it on charge later  :-[

You just need to disconect the battery within 15s of turning the ignition off.

So loosed clamps, ignition on and off, remove clamps.

Jobs a goodun

Brilliant thaks  :y, hopefully  I can get it off and in the workshop before any one  notices what I am up to .  I think if the power sounder went off it would draw attention to what  I was doing  ;)
