Nice easy ones anyway......so broken rear spring (we have a maintenance guide for that).

Replacing Rear Springs

Anti roll bar drop links (We have a maintenance guide for that to).

Changing the wishbones and Antiroll bar drop links

The springs take about an hour and cost about 80 quid a pair (replace in pairs) and the drop links take about 20 mins a side and cost about 20 quid a pair.

Drop links are on Ebay and most reports are that the various Ebay ones are fine.

Springs tend to need a bit of shopping around for good pattern parts.

I wouldn't recommend doing this, but I was bored the other Saturday, so thought I'd do something, and it seemed like a good idea at the time - and seeing as I'd just ripped the arse out of the tractor the day before, I wastn't wasting money on it ;D

That's interesting.  Both my estates (quite high mileage - the 2.5 is 130k+) have always rattled from the back.   Do you think this might be springs?  There's no obvious breakage but could they be tired?

Cheers

Thats very interesting because my estate is the same (168k) always knocks like hell when going over rough tarmac etc. Have checked heatshield and everything else underneath car got a good shake around and felt fine..?
