MV6 doesn't have the self levelling suspension. HIDs level themselves, as mentioned.

My facelift MV6 doesn't have the rear blind, nor heated rear seats however the optional leather may. :-/

Facelift MV6 also lacks the bose system (mine has a CCR2006), the sunroof, memory seats, rain sensitive wipers and cruise control...

OH!! what another thing, I've also fitted cruise control to my mv6 as the loom/harness was there :y

And I also have a 1998 MV6 brochure in front of me;

The following options are not standard but can be at extra cost;

Sat-Nav
Black Leather Trim
Cruise Control
Automatic Self Leveling Rear Suspension
Auto Gear Box

I thought the Autobox was standard? Or is that just on the 3.0? (I'm not very up on prefacelifts!)
On the facelifts 2.6 are manual, auto optional and 3.2's are all auto unless ex Police IIRC.

According to the Brochure the MV6 (pre-facelift) came with a 5 speed manual gearbox as standard.

This may, or may not help, bought my MV6 FaceLift last Year (3.0 2000 'W' Manual Estate).

Spec is as follows:

Leather sports seats (Black), fronts heated, front seats electric up/down only. Manual 5 speed box (sports ratio). Xenons self leveling, Cruise control, intermittant wipe, front and rear fogs, switchable TC. Air Con and climate, phillips 2006. Self leveling suspension (Estate?). Rear spoiler, electric windows all round. Overall lowered. 17" alloys / 235's tyres. Traffic Master. Full MID inc trip and distance, side airbags. Stiffer suspension. A bit more power under the Bonnet!.

No Sunroof, No Bose, No self dimming Mirror, No Sat Nav, Carpets a bit basic, appart from that can't remember anything else.

zirk.

Ohh forgot to mention, mines not ex - plod, so its got the Roof rails as well.

A bit more power than what?  :-?A 3.0 is a 3.0 whether it's in an Elite or a MV6 - they're both the same.  :y

Someone said there was a 5-speed autobox available... No, not on gasoline models. The only 5-speed auto is found in diesels, all petrol-engines come with 4-speed auto.

Quite a few differences in specs between Opel and Vauxhall, so it is impossible to compare them. MV6 has been an option in Opel, for 2,5/3,0 and 2,5TD engine models. For newer 2,6/3,2 it was also, but for example they did not import any MV6's to Finland with 2,6/3,2 engines.

Hans V6 has a 3.2 Elite with a 5 Speed Auto.

5L40 Autobox is listed in my owners manual for Diesel models but I've yet to see a UK spec car with one.

I have a 2000 Facelift 3.0 Elite. No Satnav (someone mentioned it earlier), no rain sensitive auto wipers. Maybe those came in for the 3.2  ?

I had a 2000 facelift elite - that had sat nav as standard. It would appear that was brought in at some point during 2000 as I've not seen it on any 'V' reg facelift models ... rain sensitive wipers probably came in around the time of the 3.2 though.

I'm sure my full facelift MV6 is lower and maybe slightly stiffer.  The ride quality is much much better than my old 2.0 GLS.

Is it possible to lower my 2001 'Y' plate 3.2 Elite by fitting MV6 suspension, but still retain the auto-levelling suspension?

Someone on here has managed to change the Elite seats over to MV6 sports seats, but still retain the memory function found in the Elite; does anyone know who this was?

Does anyone know where I might get hold of some facelift leather MV6 front seats in good condition?

Very hard to come by, and when they turn up on e-bay they are gone very quick :-/
