How do you flush the cooling system with degreaser? Step by step?

When I done mine, I drained out some water when it was cold thenpoured about a cupfull of neat Gunk into the header.  Left the header tank cap off then run it up until warm to ensure air is out.  Heater on full.

Replaced cap and drove it for about 10 miles or so to ensure all was thoroughly mixed.  I then let it cool down for an hour or so then drained it all out from the radiator drain.  Refilled with fresh water, ran it for another handfull of miles then drained down again.  Repeated several times until the water was clear with no sign of the gunk or cloudyness.

I have also left the drain tap open with a garden hose into the header tank such that the water flowing in balances that flowing out the drain, if you follow.....

Once happy, drained it down and refilled with the correct proportion of neat VX red antifreeze then topped up with water.  Ensure you get all the gunk out as well as any airlocks and all should be fine.
