Removing glovebox lid

The catch is buggered and have a replacement, I have undone all the screws on hinge and lid but cant drop it down to get the inside of lid off for access to the mechanism, dont want to force it. pass airbag so small glovebox btw

Happy to do Omega servicing etc around Merseyside,cruise activation, airbag lights sorted too...
