anyone know where i can get one of the plastic boxes from the top of the engine mine has one blockage i cant clear on it its the one that says ecotec in white on it its a 2.5 v6

250 posts minimum, as its a combine For Sale and Wanted area, and we've had a bit of trouble in the past.

It will come apart with care using Uncle Stanley, and looks like this inside



Mine was blocked solid, but once open cleaned out easy enough, and a bit of araldite or silicone sealant to put back together again.

thanks for having a look to see if you have one and i never thought to take it apart i think it the s bend that must be stuck solid

You do get a lot of build-up in the 2 main passages, and the two tiny orrifices easily block.  Carb cleaner is the stuff to use.

took it apart like the picture above then found out it was the two little holes bunged up which i could have got to if i had seen them not to worry glued it back together now waiting for it to dry you live and learn :-
