HBV is a likely candidate...

Very common problem. not expensive (around £30 iirc). a bit fiddly to get at but no technical knowledge or special tools required. :y
I,m sure there is a guide in the relevant section.

There are a few things that can cause it, but HBV is most common.

It was a HBV on mine. Used to come up with a coolant level warning about twice a week.

I lived with it for a while. You can carry pre-mixed 50% coolant. But if you're a bit lazy like me you could alternate top ups between neat water and neat antifreeze. Either way, you must keep whats in the system at a 50% mix.

If it is HBV, it could well be dripping on your DIS pack which could get expensive and a difficult job to do.

It's a tricky job purely because it's an arse to get to.

There's a guide in the maintenance section...
