OK It's a crank sensor!
« on: 07 November 2008, 22:29:02 »

Right you come to this section and wander what the problem is and 9 out of 10 times it is a crank sensor.

Doesn't start - crank sensor
cut out then restarts when cooler - crank sensor
Spins quickly, doesn't start - crank sensor
Stalls at low revs and struggles to restart - crank sensor
Clonls going over bumps - crank sensor - OK joking here

But this is the main V6 problem from what I can see.

mine, in 6 months of ownership, has cranked on the key for 5 seconds without firing 3 times! Turn ignition off and straight back on and it fired straight away...

When warm, the idle seems a bit rough intermitently, although speaking to Kevin Wood he says his is the same...

Apart from that no problems, touch wood.
