No hot air thru driver`s vent in a facelift
« on: 23 November 2008, 19:50:01 »

Like above- although the temp is set for eg.28'C and hot air comes out other vents, the driver`s one blows cold air... I think Robsey`s already checked the centre panel and pipes around hbv etc.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

ah, ok. Mine has very little from the centre vent with the latest software. So not that then. Can only suggest the reset the vents trick, auto and off together for 5 seconds or so with ignition on engine off. Failing that a trip to see Kevin in Alton for a tech 2 fiddle. Mite be the vent motor gone if all the vac pipes are ok and not leaking anyware.

well, just tried resetting- no luck. Gonna have to wait till Saturday when we`re having a mini meet at our place and Tom`s bringing his tech2. We hope it`ll cure the cold blow :) thx Chris

Hmmm strange, one vent not blowing warm air? presumeably you've tried all the direction vent buttons to try to get it moveing? beyond my experience tbh :-/, maybe a more experienced member has something to try while you wait for tech 2  :)
