I think that the Post Office is a total joke at present.  It is the usual story as far as I can tell - privatise it, employ loads of managers who have never worked on the shop floor, pay them very large salaries and an even bigger bonus and watch the rest of the system fall down.

I feel sorry for the people on the front line - the post people.

Didnt contain the item I am expecting

got 2 junk unaddressed flyers...

and more worryingly
from direct line, some blokes car insurance docs, his name, my address
from norwich union, same blokes house insurance!

not quite sure how to proceed here, wheter to ring bloke, or insurance companies
im very worried that he has insured my house, and his car living at my house!

remember, not usually the postie's fault for mail delay, they're the last people in the chain to handle your mail!

I used to get disturbed by the postman (or the lovely postlady formerly of this parish...) - now it's between 3 and 4pm. I'm waiting for a couple of ebay bits, one of which was shipped a week ago...
