Hi Folks

I guess the answer to this must be in the 799 postings but I can't find it...

The remote operates on all doors except for the drivers door, however the alarm/immobilisor is activated/deactivated just fine.  I found that out because if I don't press the open button on the remote and just use the key to open the door the alarm sounds.

Any ideas as to what the problem could be, has anyone had this themselves?

Does the lock move a bit?

If so a lazy Central locking motor, a breaker on here will be able to supply a new one.

The alarm going off if you use the key to unlock - thats be design and correct, so press your unlock button, then use the key till you fix it.

Take off the plastic lock surround inside the drivers door, give it a clean up and lubricate. Sometimes they get a bit sticky.
