best place for hbv
« on: 21 April 2009, 19:44:12 »

I'm going to change my hbv when I do cam cover gaskets.

Is it something worth going genuine for or is aftermarket ok for the hbv? (gaskets will be gen VX)

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.

some pattern have been known to leak very quickly

Vaux did even supply a few dodgy ones briefly, but generally genuine on these is best  :y

Go genuine. They can be a focker challenge to replace and you dont want to have to do it twice  :y
