front end knock

hello...when i harsh brake over a bumpy road or a little pothole a bad knock appears from the front end....im guessing summet up with brakes or is it possibly shocks gone?...let us know!

Its probably the front suspension drop link. Sounds like a knock and 99% of time thinks it the suspension but they are a common fault.

Knocking from the front end is usually droplinks, cheap and easy to replace :y

...ooor.... if when you brake over bumps the steering pulls and wanders then it possible your wishbones need replacing
(should beable to get pattern replacement wishbones and drop links for 65 pounds on ebay)

no dont wander bout mate...its jus like the shockers have got no more to give abd dont absorb the bump....just drop in and jump out of them....sending judders through the car...where are the droplinks then boys??

£8 a pair from ebay and about half an hour a side to change - i'd check the play in the wishbone bushes as well, though. :y
