Engine/box Change Issue
« on: 10 June 2009, 22:26:48 »

When i had my Omega converted from 2.5 to 3.0 the person who done this used the Gearbox ECU from the 2.5 hence it still has a AR25 ECU.

I had an issue where i kept getting Gearbox fault coming up so decided to have it checked out and was told it should of have had the proper AR35 ECU fitted at the time of the conversion.

So can anyone clarify this ??

I have 2 AR35 ECU'S sitting around so no issues there just want to know :y

The gearbox fault has not appeared for over a week now by the way.....

So you now have a stressed AR25 fitted or an AR35 with unknown history fitted?

The ECU's are the same for both engine types by the way
