Intermittent Climate Control
« on: 21 July 2009, 13:37:05 »

Hi,
My climate control only works when it feels like it!
It stays on slightly longer when on Hi or Lo but eventually cuts out & will only start again when it feels like it.
I’ve changed the whole panel but it’s still the same.

Have I got two dodgy panels or where else can I look?

Cheers.

does the panel lose power?  of just not work right?

does the fan increase bit by bit if you use the controls manually?

Do you get a -- when you turn ign off?

Might be worth sweet talking Marks DTM Calib (works in Cov) into plugging tech2 in to see if the panel is correctly configured, and correctly reading sensors

Sorry, maybe I didn't explain too well.
It's the fan that cuts out, everything else works as it should.
It speeds up & down if I adjust manually & I get -- when I switch off, seems to work better with sunroof or window open  :-?

Cheers,
I only get a 1/2hr break during the day & by the time I've got through security & walked to the car it would be time to head back!
I'll have to see if anyone is free at the weekend sometime...
