It would be a good idea for you to get some fault codes out of the ECU as it sounds like there might be other things wrong.

There's a guide on how to paperclip the car to get codes read. Have a look here: http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1189022687 and post up the codes you get.

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.
