you can adjust them manualy but be carefull not to put to much pressure on the adjusters as they are prone to snapping.the self levelers are situatated behind the headlight .the drivers side is easy to get at .you have to take your airfilter housing out and you will see the leveler .its probaly seized .push it in and turn it should come out easily .hope i have been of some help .pete :y

Manual adjusters for left & right and up & down are on top of the headlight, viewed with bonnet up. And it's this that the self leveling motors level to.

I can't remember which is which .  :-[ (this is my near side headlight)- but there's only 2 of them  ;)

the problem you have with your power steering is the same as mine and mine has gone through about 5 m.o.t's like that so no probs for m.o.t :y :y :yif the car failed on hole on exhaust if past emmisions i thought it was just an advisory :ytie rods are common,wishbones,droplinks,steering idler arms,rear springs,hand brake travel and the dreaded emmisions :y

I have now adjusted the headlamps, The adjuster that moved it up and down was the adjuster on the left as you are facing the car. I am not sure what the other adjuster does. It did not seem to do anything.
