outside temperature censor

hi lads
just a quicky and probably a very stupid question for people of your calibre lol
on my dash board the outside temp stays blank? been told the censor is bust my question is where is the censor?? :question
all feed back muchly apreciated freinds :y :y :y

Under side of your front bumper ... in the middel on your car. About £6 from Vauxhall  :y

does that sound about rite to u then tunnie that the censor is kaput as read out staying blank??..

will also mean your heating / aircon wont be working properly as it doesnt know the ambient temperature  :y

Usually if the sensor is failing it gives inaccurate readings like 52 degrees when its brass monkeys outside.

Could be the cable is damaged, and not giving a signal.

Or simply not plugged in.

Until I discovered that it was easier to pull the sensor out of the grommet than it was to unplug the plug there were a couple of occasions after I had refitted the front bumper when I forgot to reconnect the sensor afterwards.

well i'll be getting a new 1 either way as stated by 1 of the lads above its only £6ish so makes sense to replace whilst there.. ;)
but yeah aircon has been playing up slightly so guess thats the gremlin then lol ;D
