Found water in the N/S headlight last weekend - serves me right for washing the car I suppose. 

I read in old posts that I should check the rubber bungs and run a bead of sealant around the plastic cover joint.  Fine, but how do I get the water out first?  Can the plastic front be removed in situ or is it a headlight out job? 

Or should I just stock it with goldfish and call it a feature?

Depends how much water...It may be condensation, something I suffered from at one time.

I used a hot hair dryer on the outside to "dry" the headlight out THEN drove with my lights on for a few days to further dry the light out from the inside.
That was 8 months ago, problem hasn't returned since.

if its just condensation, bung some silica gel packs into the back of the headlamp then replace the rubber cover, they will dry out the moisture and prevent it returning.

Hi i used a  hot hair dryer, take out the bulbs then place the drier so it blows in the bulb holes it took me about  45 mins
