Blimey, my MFL has done about 155k and is on its second pair in its life. Both still work but one has a bit of free travel (about one inch before resistance)

I would say yours might well be tatered too. Easy enough to check and when you get the replacements they will change over easier as you will have freed them off already

Just need to find the most cost effective solution for the rear springs ,as confusion on KYB help line and unknown supplier of fleabay I sourced so bit suspect even at £50 a side

just had a look through info I have saved over the years. Rear KYB softer springs for the elite saloon are part number RJ 6227. If you go back to KYB they should confirm that.
