Hi, just a quick question, is there a temp guage sensor (other than the 2 on the radiator) that the in car guage takes its readings from, and if so, where is it located? Thanks, and hope the question makes sense?

Thanks Rob, been getting different readings so suspect the sensor is playing up?? I will see if i can locate it, and change to rule out.

By far the easiest way to locate it is......plenum off, inlet manifold off, then you can see it at the rear of the oil cooler to the left.

Waits for V6 owners to correct me

mine's been OK for the last 7+ yrs (touches wood  ) and I intend the Omega to be gone before it ever needs a new one.

found this thread cos i think that the thermostats gone on my v6 - both "top" rad pipes are empty and the engines getting .. warm

is it really under the thingy in the middle of the V ?
