side indicators
« on: 20 January 2010, 16:49:28 »

Do clear side indicators from a facelift fit a pre-facelift. Had one of mine knocked off and it looks much better without the orange on the side. So if they fit I think I will change them both to the newer ones.
Thanks   Al

Many thanks, now to find a pair. I assume they are different bulbs to cope with the lack of orange lens.

There's an orange bit inside the clear repeater so you put clear/ordinary bulbs in!

I have smoked sides on my nocturno blue. Looks much better than the old orange ones. Clear on silver car though.

Some use an orange lens insert and some use orange bulbs - depends on the manufacturer

Have a look on Fleabay, you can get just about every colour lens possible, including chromed !!
