Child seat sensor
« on: 16 September 2011, 09:05:35 »

Hello I've tried everything to get the red light off my dash because I've got a dodgy child seat sensor what I was wondering is can it be turned off if youve got access to a tech 2 because there is an option to turn it off but it won't let you do it . :(

I suspect that's your air bag light. The kiddies seat warning lamp where fitted is up by the courtesy light.  ;)

Kiiddy seat sensor related faults do bring up the airbag light though. ;)
I can be turned off using tech2 or one of those type of readers we cant talk about due to copyright laws. :-X

In this case the fault is present, and the light cannot be turned off.

He has tried using a device to turn off that sensor from the airbag ecu without success, and wonders if a real tech2 would have more luck.

Ill see if I can did out the old live data etc....
